Nogah Lord - Flowrs from my gar

About Nogah

Already as a young child I felt different from those around me. I did my best to belong by imitating the behavior of others. Yet I still felt different. At age 12 I left Israel to live with my father in America and felt even more like a stranger in a strange land. Again I tried to do what others were doing in order to be accepted, but the feeling that I am a stranger stayed with me.

Eventually, after several different vocations, I became a professional dancer which lasted 10 years. Then I found myself paralyzed confined to my bed for several months. In order to speed my healing I became vegetarian and began studying many books on the subjects of body, mind and spirit. I entered the Gurdjieff spiritual school in New York and from that point on until I traveled to India, I studied with many great teachers and continued my reading, among them I read the book "Autobiography of a Yogi".

After I read the chapter about Babaji, I started to visit His Ashram in my dreams. In April 1979, when I arrived in India and met Babaji in person, I recognized the place that I visited in my dreams.

I returned to Israel immediately after being with Babaji in order to share what I had learned from Babaji. I continued teaching in Israel until I returned to America to settle in Virginia and opened a healing center there for 20 years. Eventually I moved to central Portugal and these days I am working on building a new healing center.

Since I began my spiritual journey, I had a deep wish that everyone should experience God’s love as I did. Over the years, this calling has taken me from Israel to America, and now to Portugal, where I continue to share the path of Living in Harmony.

Here in Portugal, we are bringing new life to old stone houses, transforming them into spaces of peace and renewal. These homes will soon serve as retreat centers—welcoming individuals and groups who seek healing, connection, and a deeper sense of harmony.

Until then, I remain devoted to offering seminars, lectures, and conversations inspired by my books, and to walking beside others as they discover their own journey toward harmony and love.
